As President of the company, I manage all of the day-to-day operations as well as serve as the Human Resources Manager. I graduated from Fresno State with a degree in Child Development and taught elementary school before starting at Denham in 1975. I hold a Professional of Human Resources (PHR) certification.

I am currently a member of HRACC, and serve on the Advisory Board of Hope Now for Youth, the board of Fresno Citizens for Good Government, and Fresno United Neighborhoods Board. My past involvement includes 2004 Chairman of the Board of the Greater Fresno Area Chamber of Commerce, EDC Board, RJI Leadership Council, 2005 Chair of the Chamber PAC, San Joaquin Political Academy Board, Citizen’s Committee to Update Fresno’s General Plan and Growth Alternatives Alliance that developed the nationally recognized planning document, “A Landscape of Choice”.

I have a very simple professional philosophy adopted from Winston Churchill- Do the right thing, every time.

When I’m not working my favorite activity is to spend time with our children and grandchildren. I also love to get my hands dirty in my garden and, when time permits, ride my horse.

Dave Denham
Chief Executive Officer

I joined Denham in 1971 after graduating from Fresno State with a degree in Business and began my career recruiting and placing a variety of candidates. While remaining active in senior level recruiting and executive search, I spend most of my time in long term strategic planning, client relations, and staying active in numerous industry and non-profit organizations.

To name a few, I formerly served as the President of the Independent Staffing Associates and the Vice Chair of the Workforce Investment Board of Fresno County. I also was the former Vice President of the California Association of Staffing Services, a past Vice Chair of the Fresno County Workforce Investment Board, the past President of the Independent Staffing Alliance, the past Senior Vice President of the California Temporary Staffing Association, past Executive Committee member and Vice President of the United Way of Fresno County, past President of the Fresno Temporary Staffing Association, and a Board Member of the Family Self Sufficiency Organization.

My personal business philosophy is to always treat every person whom you meet as you would like them to treat you. In any business or personal situation always take the high road and lead by example.

Joe Denham
Vice President

I come to Denham with B2B business development expertise accumulated over the past several years. My duties involve remaining in contact with our many past, present and future client companies.  I meet with them to learn of the changes in their businesses and inform them of our new and existing services, which are specifically designed to save them valuable time and money.

My professional philosophy is to always be honest, respectful, listen well and exemplify the core values of our company:  Integrity Above All Else, Knowing That Everything Is Possible, and Improving Our Community.

On a personal note, I am married and have an one son.  In my spare time I enjoy Spear Fishing, Skiing, Golf, spending time with my family and being active outdoors.

Doreen Dunn
Recruiting Consultant

Having been in the staffing and recruitment industry for over 20 years, I was very excited and pleased to join such a reputable and professional company as a Recruiting Consultant for Denham Resources in April of 2015.

My passion is connecting talented people with top companies while always providing excellent customer service. Building long lasting relationships and partnerships with our clients and candidates is the most rewarding part of my job.

I am currently a member of Central California SHRM, the Greater Fresno Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador’s Committee and I support local animal shelters and the American Red Cross.

On the personal side, I’m a gardener, a foodie, a beach girl and a dog lover.

Steven Wilson
Recruiting Consultant

I was privileged to become a member of the Denham team in December of 2014.

As a recruiter and staffer my goal is to find resource solutions for organizations wherever needed. Part of this process it to show talented individuals what a great place our local and extended community is to live and work.

My background is very broad which allows me to relate on many levels with both decision makers and candidates regarding their requirements. My undergraduate degree in personnel and industrial relations complimented by an MBA, which further broadens what I can offer to those I serve.

One of my passions is working with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training Campaign. I participate with the Marathon Team and am beginning a season with the Cycle Team.

I am 39 years married with a very spoiled grandchild and would not have it any other way.

Debi Cooper
Staffing Manager

I have been with Denham since 1984, and have been a part of the Office Services team for my entire tenure. I was promoted to my current Management role in 2005, and am still very much involved in the hands-on temporary and direct-hire recruitment of office professionals.

I am actively involved with many local charities, currently a member of Fresno Women’s Network, and am an Ambassador for the Catholic Professionals & Business Breakfast Club. The last 10 years I have served as a teen catechist at Sacred Heart Church and two years as a student mentor with the Hoover High School Program.

I believe that there is a right place and career for every person. Furthermore, I hold myself accountable to do things right the first time so I don’t have to go back to fix a rushed or incomplete job.

Stormy Olvera
Staffing Consultant

I started my professional career at the age of 17 in the military; I was motivated and driven at an early age. I started out as a Healthcare Specialist and then moved into Logistics and Human Resources. I was an accomplished Recruiter in the military for 10 years before moving in to the role of a Human Resources Manager. My greatest accomplishment was working with the Tulare County Office of Education, Tulare Joint Union High School, Tulare School Board, Amvets Post 56, Central Valley Vietnam Vets and Amaro Serpa to start the Californa Cadet Corp for Tulare Joint Union High School students. The program was very successful and has continued to benefit the youth in Tulare. I have been studying to get my Psychology Degree.

I have an amazing husband and we have 4 wonderful kids and 3 very active grandsons. I am an avid dog lover, enjoy music, traveling and appreciate art.

I have over 25 years of experience in all areas of Human Resources. I am honored to bring my experience and expertise to Denham, adding to the already capable services that they currently provide. I have served in a number of executive level management positions, including as the CEO of a large Benefits Trust. Additionally, I have worked with several Fortune 500 companies. This has allowed me to formulate and implement Human Resource policy and procedures for personnel departments, administrative offices, manufacturing facilities, small businesses, and corporate offices.

I am a graduate from San Jose State with a degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations.

My professional philosophy is to always follow my four "C's" in Human Resources; Compliance, Consistency, Credibility and Communication.

On a personal note, I am married; always amazed with how professional my wife is in her hairstyling salon, love to spend time with our children and grandchildren, travel, golf, golf, golf and golf.

Wally Grant
Visalia Branch Manager

I was honored to have become part of the Denham Team in February 2010. As the manager of the Visalia Branch, I am directly responsible for business development as well as client services in the Southern Central Valley.

The late great Herb Brooks once said, "Great achievements are born from great opportunities". I am thankful for my opportunity here at Denham and strive to achieve great things daily.

Along with a BS degree in Business Marketing from Fresno State University, I bring to Denham over 20 years of management experience in both sales & marketing and the customer relations fields. I belong to the Tulare/Kings County chapter of SHRM, Tulare/Kings County chapter of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Visalia Chamber of Commerce.

I have been married for 19 years and have 2 beautiful daughters. My spare time is spent either golfing or following my daughters through their many sports activities.

Lynn Burnias
Client Relations

I began my time here at Denham Resources in August 2014 and started as a social media/marketing intern. I was then fortunate enough to continue my time with the company in Client Relations. I am a Fresno State Graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. Here at Denham, not only do I seek prospective clients, but I also maintain close relations with our past and current clients.

Growing up, my parents frequently told me to always try my best and work hard because it will all be worth it in the end. I kept those words close to my heart throughout my schooling years and continue to apply that philosophy, not only in my professional life, but in my personal life as well.

To gain some insight on my life, I am a small town girl from Corcoran and moved to Fresno when I started Fresno State. I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, and eating (which is one of my favorite hobbies). I also love to sing and dance, which everyone here at the office can attest to. Overall, I am just a small girl with a big personality.

Accounting Manager

I joined the Denham Team in April 2006 as a Payroll Coordinator and have since taken on the position of Accounting Manager. My primary function as Accounting Manager is to make certain that the office functions run smoothly and to maintain efficient and accurate accounting systems, as I do love working with numbers.

I believe that it takes motivation and hard work to get to where you want to be. Without the drive and struggle, you will not be able to unlock the key to your potential.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading a good book, and cooking. Okay, I admit, I'm a CSI junkie.

Shannon Grissom
Office Coordinator

I joined the Denham team in June 2016 as the Office Coordinator.

As Office Coordinator, I’m the hub, so I have the wonderful opportunity to model the Denham Promise and “make life better” for all those I encounter. I find it no coincidence that of my favorite quotes from Maya Angelou echoes the Denham Promise: “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

On a personal note, I have been called the Sock Monkey Lady. Maybe that’s because I have a line of Sock Monkey golf club headcovers that are carried on tour by six LPGA pros.

But that’s only one color in my crayon box, and I like to create with them all. The rest of the time, I am an artist, television producer/host, songwriter, and author, who loves creating all manner of fun with my friends and family.

Payroll Coordinator

My name is Maria Ramos, and I have my certificate as a Human Resource Administrator. I am in the pursuit of a higher education trying to receive my Bachelors degree and maybe one day my Masters degree, maybe. I am currently the Payroll Coordinator at Denham Resources. I started out as an Human Resources Intern, where I began to answer phones all the way to assisting the staffing consultants on special projects and everyday activities.

On a personal note, I love to spend my time with my family and friends, I just love surrounding myself with lots of positive energy. If I'm not spending time with family or friends, I try my best to do some community service. My goal is to one day go sky diving, and believe me, I will one day.
